PRIVATE

When you’re here, one of our three studio spaces is YOURS. You are not sharing the room with anyone else. You don’t have to wait for equipment or listen to someone else’s music.

PERSONAL

A certified personal trainer will be with you during your entire session to guide you through workouts, correct form, and provide extra motivation and attention.

POSITIVE

We believe in positive strength and empowerment. Our goal is to lift you up – not tear you down with negativity or drill sergeant attitude. Life’s too short.

“Working with Bob has been the healthiest choice I have made in a long time. Overweight, out of shape, bad back, and poor eating habits caused a steady decline in my health. Since I’ve started, the change is dramatic. Bob created my personal workouts keeping in mind my limitations. He is supportive, motivating, energetic, and he genuinely cares for his clients and their success.”

“Instead of the dread that comes along with some exercise programs I look forward to my time with Bob. What I’ve gained by coming to him is strength, endurance, pride, friends, hope, happiness, energy, so on, and so on… What I’ve lost is 35lbs, blood pressure, and cholesterol by 40 points. My health is now a priority for me. I cannot find words to express all the gratitude I feel, so all I can say is thank you!”

FITNESS FAQ

What should I expect during my first session?

During your initial consultation, we’ll have a nice chat about your goals, medical history, and past experience with exercise. We want to know what motivates you and where you feel you need help. Your trainer will take you through a few initial assessment exercises to gauge what level you’re at and where to best take your program. Depending on your goals, we may also take body composition measurements, but only if you’re comfortable with it.

What clothes should I wear?

For your workouts, you should wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in. You may get a little sweaty. Athletic shoes are strongly recommended for your safety. Closed-toed shoes must be worn while lifting weights.

Can I bring my own music?

YES! Music is the heart of any good workout. You may bring music on your phone – you can either connect to our speakers via Bluetooth or send us a spotify playlist link. Crank it up, baby.

How much does training cost?

Prices depend on the length of session, the size of the training package, and the number of people in the session. Please see our packages & pricing page for details.

How long is each session?

Training sessions are either 30 or 55 minutes long, depending on which package you have purchased. We recommend beginning with 30 minute sessions until the body is more conditioned.

Will I be sore?

At first….probably! Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness can kick in 24-48 hours after a new workout. We advise you to drink lots of water and snack on some good protein after your session to minimize this soreness. Once your body is more conditioned, the post-workout soreness will lessen considerably.

Do you write workouts for me to do at home?

Not usually except for specific clients and situations. We encourage you to take whatever notes you need during the session.

Will other people see me workout?

You and your trainer have your assigned studio space entirely to yourself for your training session. No waiting for equipment or listening to other people’s music. Occasionally there may be a client chilling in the waiting area that you might see in passing. If this bothers you, please let us know.
