Farewell to the Prince of Darkness
Trainer Bob here, taking a moment at the studio to reflect on the passing of Ozzy Osbourne, who is the legendary inventor of heavy metal music. I have enjoyed his creations since I was a kid, and his songs have always been a constant part of the soundtrack to my life. I couldn’t even begin to say how many times I’ve listened to his music during my workouts all these years. Our studio’s name isn’t just a play on words; it represents how the artistic genre of rock and metal has connected with Tracy & I. Melodic stories from everyday people of triumph and tragedy, heartwarming and heartbreaking. Regular lessons and motivation for our own individual mental and physical health journeys. So raise a protein shake in the air to celebrate Ozzy, musicians, and how music of any genre has shaped your life.
We love our song quotes at the studio, so here are a few that Ozzy has left for generations to come:
“Time waits for no one yeah,
It’s never what it seems,
Stop waiting for tomorrow,
Just live every moment of each day.”
‘Time’
“Stay strong, stay true,
Be brave, it all comes down to you,
Stand up, aim true,
Keep heart, the future looks to you,
Every second you throw away,
Every minute of every day,
Don’t get caught in a memory,
Because life won’t wait for you,
Try to just let it go,
Rise – the guilty will fall,
Stay – they can’t take it all,
They want the unimportant,
It’s love they leave behind,
And know we’re all connected,
We give ourselves the power.”
‘Life Won’t Wait’
“Without each other’s help there ain’t no hope for us,
When will all this anger, hate, and bigotry be gone?”
‘Dreamer’
“Crazy, but that’s how it goes,
Millions of people living as foes,
Maybe it’s not too late,
To learn how to love, and forget how to hate.”
‘Crazy Train’
“Underneath my masquerade,
A simple man who’s so afraid,
I try to find a light to guide me home.”
‘Running Out of Time’
