Take Your Workout Outside

This Earth Day, don’t forget that the Great Outdoors is the ultimate fitness playground! Get outside, breathe in the fresh air, and remember that connecting with nature can be a fantastic way to break a sweat. Go for a trail run or a bike ride. Break up your run with some lunges and squats. Use curbs or stairs for step-ups, park benches for tricep dips and pushups, playground bars for rows and pullups, or drop into the grass for some planks and V holds. Bring a kettlebell into the backyard. Or go to an outdoor yoga class in the sunshine. Even non-exercise movement like gardening and yardwork counts!
